What kind of exfoliant is this?

The HydroExfoliant uses mechanical exfoliation — finely milled botanical particles that physically lift flakes, dead skin cells, and product residue. It does not contain chemical exfoliants (AHAs, BHAs, or salicylic acid).

How often should I use it?

• Oily or buildup-prone scalp: Up to 2× per week
• Normal scalp: Once per week
• Dry or sensitive scalp: Once every 1–2 weeks; follow immediately with HydroSerum (Step 2)
• Color-treated hair: Once per week; patch test recommended on first use

When to pause or stop use

Discontinue use and consult a dermatologist or trichologist if you experience: persistent scalp irritation or burning, open sores, active scalp psoriasis or eczema flares, or unusual hair shedding after use.
